Summary

A profoundly variegated land surmising the entirety of known civilization, Vildrel has served for centuries innumerable as a cradle for ambition and dereliction in even measure--epitaphs to byzantine societies now serving as tawdry buttressings for the goings-on of peoples contemporary. Through interminable jungle and hoary, snow-drifted mountain peak, this is the sole constant--it is a land touched in its totality by the Gods themselves, who had, for millenia, called ken its shape and impelled their will.
But time passes as it does--and the Gods have found themselves scarce the world, their sole representation and diplomat to our peoples Guernon, the guardian of the Free Peoples of the north. Vildrel's powers vie increasingly against one-another as civilization once more surfeits available territory, but six powers remaining of many innominate. They hold fast to their territories even as lifespans err to extend ever longer into the hundreds, and populations grow ever stagnant.
