Donze
Donze is a monarchical society with a high emphasis that the nobility are superior in comparison to the common folk, it holds that Donze is a higher power and holy land. In truth, the power of Donze has waned over last hundred years but the monarchy goes out of its way to hide this from the populace, speaking with foreigners is greatly discouraged and merchants are restricted to special districts. A major belief in Donze is that humans are the superior species and "demi-humans" are the lowest of the low.
Structure
The government is a bloodline based Monarchy ruled by the current King. Certain families are considered noble and others can be risen to noble status by royal decree while others may have their status stripped by decree. Typically men have more power in the royal court. Members of the court are almost universally human with only a couple of non-human members.

History
After much of the East was lost to the Orstad, remaining kingdoms, tribes, and rebellious provinces unite under the banner of the largest kingdom of Donze. Once established the Kingdom began to fight against the Orstad. Success was limited until the new Donze Kingdom allied itself with the Northerner tribes in the untouched frozen north, and the Orstad had to fight against an unrelated attack by several Large orc tribes that came from the southern volcanic region.
Demography and Population
The vast majority of Donze is human with only minimal other races.
Military
The Donze royal army is primarily composed of volunteers or in times of war, conscripted citizens. There are also several groups where nobles may be placed (chevalier, offices of the navy and calvary) in "decorative" roles.
The Donze military/navy was formerly known as very powerful and well equipped but in the last hundred years during the decline, the army has been losing resources and the navy hasn't built any new ships in 20 years.
Currently, the two best-equipped sections of the army are the Chevalier/officers and the Inquisition.

Foreign Relations
Over the last hundred years the power and wealth of Donze have waned, during this time to slow the loss Donze began to rip off, trick and blackmail the other countries for resources but as time goes by the other countries have begun to resist these methods. Sykengland has pulled all trade until several prisoners are returned. This has strained relations with all members of the central alliance.
Much of the metals in Donze came from Darnia, but after the minerals began to run dry Donze attempted to change trade to Mondlicht. While early on this seemed to be promising there was an incident where after the emissary from Donze made forceful acts on what he thought was a servant but was actually the princess and the current queen. The political relationship between the two nations has become tense, since then trade between the two has become minimal. This has greatly reduced the access to steel for the army, forcing reliance on leather and small mines in Donze.
After Othrin became an independent nation, many in Donze believed they had to take the land back in a "holy" mission from the king. This resulted in a humiliating defeat and the loss of Othrin and a portion of land near the border mountain range, since then there have been occasional border skirmishes and a fear that JOthrin may invade. The addition of cannons to the Othrin fleet has been devastating to the Donze navy.
