Personal history

Paradox was born to two Dark Tribe parents who were already fleeing from Light tribe hunters following the conclusion of the War of Dark and Light. Soon after he was born, Paradox's father sacrificed himself to allow his wife and child to escape, who soon made a life for themselves in the Red Desert. During this time, Paradox's mother taught him how to control his Psionic powers and taught him the history of the Dark Tribe, their triumphs, and their mistakes. After many years, Paradox's mother eventually succumbed to sickness, leaving Paradox to survive on his own. Luckily by then he was adept at using his powers to procure food and had a sturdy shack to sleep in. Since then, Paradox has remained there, peacefully living out his days.

Mental Trauma

Paradox was told from a young age about the destruction of the Dark Tribe and fears that anyone who hails from a Light tribe or Norvan background is untrustworthy and would try to harm him if they knew his true lineage.

Motivation

Paradox usually wants nothing more than to remain where he is and relax, but has a big heart that feels for people he doesn't even know. If he can help someone in trouble, he will, if someone else can't do it better, that is.

Paradox is normally very shy when talking to others, and can get confused very easily when a conversation does not take the direction he expects it to. He speaks very quietly when he can, and never interrupts anyone.

Paradox has a habit of wringing his wrists when he's nervous, which is basically all the time when he's speaking to others.
