The leadership of the Osmad Sultanate's military and law presence falls to the Master General. Until recently, Amar Nassaire was the holder of this title and took his duties diligently. He always went above and beyond to serve and protect the Nala Al-Sharaf and made sure that order was maintained in the city of Bekilk.
Nassaire played a major role in the nation's history, for when the Church of the Sun converted the masses and took control of the Sultanate, Nassaire remained loyal to the true rulers of the nation and helped Nala Al-Sharaf take back what was her's.

Personal history
Amar was born in a military family. His father had served in the Osmad military, as had his father before him and his father before him. Originally, Nassaire wanted to be an actor. He dreamed of performing epic plays before the Sultan himself. However, his father pressured him into abandoning that idea and join the military instead. When his father fell ill, Nassaire felt as though he had a duty to do, so he enlisted in the Sultanate's military. Though the Sultanate did not undergo any wars, its military was still exercised when repelling bandit raids and fending off the horrible desert creatures. Nassaire displayed his ability again and again in combat with these threats and climbed the ranks quickly, eventually finding himself as a General.
When the Master General Sargon Kalife was slain by a blue dragon assaulting the city, Nassaire was chosen by the Sultana as the new Master General. Nassaire displayed the utmost respect for his new position and swore that he would protect and serve the Sultana and her newborn child until he dies.
Nassaire fulfilled his role to the letter. He was always by the Sultana's side, in a way, accomplishing his original goal of performing in front of royalty, but in a different way of course. In particular, he developed a close relationship with the princess. Because her father was slain before she was born, Nassaire often acted as the father figure and friend she needed.
When the Church of the Sun took control, Nassaire was captured and imprisoned. He was swallowed by despair, since he believed he had failed the Sultana and the princess by allowing the Church to take over. Despair turned to hope when he was rescued, by none other than the princess herself. He swore to her that he would do everything in his power to help her take back his throne.
A few years later, and Nassaire kept his promise. With Sultana Nala Al-Sharaf in power, Nassiare's work was all but finished. As he grew old, he insisted, despite the Sultana's concerns for his health, that he serve for as long as he can as the Master General. Nassaire faithfully served, not just as the Master General, but also one of Nala's trusted advisors and one of her closest friends. He watches over her as if she was his own daughter, and he even took it upon himself to train the Sultana's children, just as he had trained her when she was young.
By 1437 CE, Nassaire's age started hampering his duties, and finally, he voluntarily stepped down from the position, passing the reins to the new Master General, Arjhan Bahar. Nassaire is still a frequent visitor of the Ivory Palace and his advice is always welcome.
