Brottenheim
Brottenheim is the kingdom of the Dwarf (Fjelldwerg) , located in the Mithilfjell Mountains of Northern Aetrus .
Structure
The kingdom of Brottenheim is ruled by King Brumdal Goldenaxe leader of the Goldenaxe clan, and his wife Queen Gwennar Goldenaxe .
Public Agenda
Ultimately the Brottvar people wish to be left in isolation. They do however understand the importance of allies. They are in an alliance with the kingdoms of Kelm and Gildengard, and often engage in trade agreements with them.
Assets
The mountain kingdom of Brottenheim is rich in precious metals. They ship large amounts of platinum, gold, silver and copper to the Kingdom of Gildengard where it is minted into the currency of the eight kingdoms. Hunters often travel to the surface where they hunt for wild game and threats to the kingdom. They return with meat and trophies such as furs, horns, and other trinkets to sell at market.
Military
The military of Brottenheim can be broken up into the following divisions.
Iron Defenders: This is the front line of any military operation. They are trained with heavy armor, shields, axes, hammers, and pikes. They stand firm against the enemy onslaught acting as an iron wall against their foes.
Grim Watch: This division acts as the kingdom's special forces. They are lightly armored, and trained in crossbows, and light weaponry such as hand axes. They are often tasked with defending the kingdom's borders from threats both above and below the surface.
Agriculture & Industry
Brottenheim is famous for their production of metal. Forges run hot, constantly producing bars to be shaped into all manner of armor, weapons, and tools. The technique for crafting Aetrian steel was invented by the blacksmiths of Brottenheim, and they are world renowned for their craftsmanship.
Trade & Transport
The natural resources of Brottenheim are traded with the rest of the 8 kingdoms, and transported in wagons across northern Aetrus.
Education
The people of Brottenheim are proud of their history. The clan elders tell tales to the young ones of the deeds of their ancestors. Extensive records are literally carved in stone tablets and kept in vast hall of records. Anyone is welcome to access these records, as long as they agree to the strict supervision of a lore keeper.
Infrastructure
The kingdom itself is built into the Mithilfjell mountains, and boasts an impregnable defense. Any cave on the surface that leads far enough into the mountain is built into a fortress and stationed with guards.

The dwerg revere Chromion, the god of fate and so their justice system is run by the Grey Court.
