Underseer
Qualifications
There are no qualifications needed to be an Underseer. A person must simply commit to the Grifters pathway at their Vellich Profession Paths.
Appointment
The appointment of a person as Underseer is celebrated as part of the Path Choosing ceremony. Underseer is the most junior position in the Grifters path, so choosing this pathway causes the person to become an Underseer.
Duties
An Underseer's duties include acting as a runner for other Grifters. This may include fetching required materials, passing messages or helping with lifting and moving. They also shadow Light Grifter, Heavy Grifter, General Grifter and Overseer so that they can learn from them and understand what each of the roles includes.
Responsibilities
They are responsible for their own learning, as well as ensuring that whoever they are assisting has what they need. They are responsible for ensuring that there is someone within each area who is willing to help them learn what the roles involve.
