Elder Spirits of Creation

The Elder Spirits of Creation, or simply The Elder Spirits, are the primordial spirits who shaped the world. They are numerous, and their worship is widespread outside of the Barradin Empire. Though the worship of these spirits occurs in many different places, no two cultures worship them in the same way. There are many differences in how certain races or cultures venerate these Spirits. For example the Elves and Dwarves both venerate their own versions of the Elder Spirits, though both have their own unique ideas on what these spirits entail.
The Dwarves believe them to be their oldest Ancestors, who forged the first mountains and land. They tell stories of their exploits and greatness in a way which they are portrayed similar to mortals.
The Elves have a more animistic approach to the Spirits of Creation. They believe that the Elvish Spirits were the first beings, which created the earth from their own essence. They believe that the Spirits have transcended and are now in every forest, mountain and sea, and still look over their creations that wander the world.
