Glayn

The Kingdom of Glayn is located on the northern edge of the continent of Vandrius. Castle Glayn is made up of a primary fortress, which sits on the very edge of the steep ocean cliffside, and a series of smaller towers and forts built atop the natural stone pillars known as the spires which dot the channel between the mainland and the Isle of Cleqal, the homeland of the Northern Aven. A series of bridges, either stone or swinging rope, connect each of the spires to each other in a dizzying weave of walkways. While Glayn does not have much land to farm, the Isle of Tallis boasts an extremely rare form of lichen useful in alchemy, which grows only on this island. The people make the dangerous trek over the bridges to the island to collect this lichen, which they are able to sell for a great profit to the surrounding kingdoms.
