Aven

Aven are a humanoid avian race native to Vandrius. They have bird-like heads on humanoid bodies, with taloned hands and feet, and wings on their back. They are covered in feathers, and have digitigrade legs. The northern subrace instead has wings coming from their shoulders, with a taloned hand on the end of it, lacking humanoid arms.
Southern Aven are native to the mountains of Checha and Najka, while the Northern variant hail from the Isle of Tallis in the south of the continent.
