Lake Rash'ani

This lake sits at the heart of the Rashwanan Caliphate, and also borders the Shasarek Shogunate. It crucially feeds the Nalhaya River, which gives life to the Shasarek Desert and beyond. The arid conditions of the lands surrounding the lake cause much of the surrounding territories populations to crowd the borders of the lake. This has created some tension between the three countries that border the lake. There have been times in history when a drought has caused the lake to nearly dry up, and many wonder how water will be partitioned between the three nations if this happens again.
