Barren Sea

The Barren sea is the coldest of sea in the world, populated by floats of glacial ice, icebergs, and high intensity frigid winds. Shipping lanes out of the Tensun Trading Company, Epsia, and Naiathel Empire often have to briefly withstand these waters as they navigate around the southern tip of the Dragonshead Peninsula, usually making their brief foray into these waters the most dangerous portion of their trip. Ships that regularly travel these waters may have reinforced bows to resist impact with pieces of floating ice that are often encountered here. During winter, icebreakers are needed to create a passageway through the frozen layer of water.
