V'Gan, A Woodland Druid
V'Gan
An odd fellow, by any account, V'Gan is a middle-aged human male, of the druidic persuasion.
Truly at home in nature, V'Gan wanders the forests to the south of the Drakeseat Mountains. Never truly comfortable living in civilisation, or among large numbers of his own kind, V'Gan prefers the solitude of life in the woods. He is not unfriendly to travellers however, so long as they respect the forest and do not harm it or any of its inhabitants.
V'Gan was born in the city of Laranna in 1262. His father was a woodsman and hunter, and during his youth, V'gan would often be brought along on hunting trips. He loved the outdoors and freedom of life outside the city, away from the bustle and mess of society, but did not approve of his father's hunting; not wanting harm to come to the creatures who lived in his favourite place.
As a young man, as soon as he was able, V'Gan set out to forge his own path, closer to nature and would not again return to Laranna, although he would occasionally be found visiting the smaller countryside villages; not completely embracing the life of a hermit.
