Forest of Reflection

The Forest of Reflection, is a large forest to the east of Laranna, south of the Drakeseat Mountains covering roughly 780 square miles of territory.

Geography

Seated at the foot of the Eastern Drakeseat Mountains, the northern reaches of the forest curve gently up into the foothills.
The forest is not considered impassable, by any means, and possesses itself a rather forgiving kind of terrain, with a good potion of the forest having grown on the same softly rolling hills as the plains to the south.

Natural Resources

The trees of the Forest of Reflection are used as a major source of timber by the people of the surrounding towns and villages; with the lion's share of lumber going to the nearby regional capital city of Laranna, which has expanded greatly over the centuries, in no small part due to the bountiful and convinient supply of wood from the forest.
