Silvari was a noblewoman from a wealthy family of Verdorn. When the young King Casavir III announced his intention to be married, all the acceptable noble families sent their daughters as candidates to the Royal Palace. The day the young king would make his choice was extremely cloudy and overcast, but before he could express his preference a powerful sunbeam broke through the clouds in one place only, and shone directly through the window onto the young Silvari. Both the king and the royal cleric agreed that this was almost certainly a sign from Dianecht that she was to be the royal bride. While not married for love, the two appeared to be content with one another during their short marriage, which ended with the unfortunate childbed death of Silvari. King Casavir's refusal to marry again, despite the precarious situation of having only one royal heir, suggests they - or at least he - may even have fallen in love.
