Wolboro Mountains
The Wolboro Mountains divide the high Gleymor plateau from the low Unclaimed Lands to the wild west. These mountains are not as lofty as the Marwall, but are formidable to the layman climber.
There are several passes on the north wide that tiptoe into Rerya's southwestern corner. Many merchants favor this road, but it has fallen under control of the ZentarÃ, a roving band of thieves.
The climate varies between warm in summer and cool in winter with snowy days in Midwinter. The mountains are not snowcapped, though some cling to snow well into Aftvernal. As such there are no mountain streams that cut into the hard granite and diorite, but the high winds from the west do smooth and shape the western slopes. Storms often rage on the westward side of the mountains, and some of the clouds make their way above and over, though the journey is taxing. Luckily, with Wolboro Lake nearby, the land isn't parched.
