Lizardfolk
Peaceable, as long as you leave them be and they aren't too hungry. Guard their borders fiercely, too. Something about them gives my the heebie-jeebies!!These mortals live in the hot jungles of Metzono and Hezhz. Their society is seen as primitive for they do not build grand houses or cities, but cluster in ruins or grottos. Despite this, they do thrive in their areas.

Borderguards
The lizardfolk do not trifle with the wills of outsiders. Though a few may claim to be "in" with lizardfolk, they do not truly have an "in" with them. They shun outsiders, allowing only small steps into their borders.Fringetowns
So called because of their border proximity, these little outposts are as close one can get within lizardfolk territory. These villages serve as trading posts for outsiders. No one appears to inhabit these small villages, but nonetheless when a traveler is within a few hundred feet of it, several lizardfolk populate it.Master Hunters
Lizardfolk have a taste for mortal flesh from time-to-time. Whereas normally lizardfolk prefer to watch from a distance, when on a hunt, parties will stalk their quarry and pounce when the time is right.Draconic Origins
Despite their lizard appearance, legends speak of lizardfolk having ties to dragons. They believe they are offshoots of dragons who are dumb without the true power of them. Many others believe them to simply be complicit to dragons' whims. Regardless, lizardfolk default to any dragons in the area, following their orders and instructions when able.Ophidiophobes
The only thing lizardfolk hate more than trespassing outsiders are Yuan-ti, To a lizardfolk anything is worth eradicating these foolish creatures. Their abilities and fallacious beliefs and customs deeply offend lizardfolk for some unknown reason. The lizardfolk maintain a heavy border defense on all yuan-ti lands.Religion
Lizardfolk worship draconic deities, such as Bahamut and Tiamat. They also ascribe draconic features to non-dragon deities, such as Kord or [god-melora]. These rituals are typically done with sacrifices, but the sacrifice changes depending on the deity. Tiamat, for example, would prefer innocent mortals, whereas their Kord prefers the blood and flesh of yuan-ti.Civilization and Culture
Naming Traditions
Lizardfolk names are generally harsh sounding with often harder to pronounce elements, but some guttural or melodic elements are present in some names as well. So in other words, their names are very varied. Their names also have a meaning, whether literal or prophetic.
