Mikhail Gavinies was born as heir to House Gavinies in 1597 to a human mother and tiefling father. An only child, he was trained to a high extent in the classical arts (attending the Argentum Academy of Performing Arts) and business, so he could continue the exploitation of Aberra's resources that his ancestor nearly 500 years prior.
In early 1679, his nephew Alexei Gavinies began to slowly poison him over the course of weeks. No magic seemed to cure his plight, and no magic was even able to detect the poison itself. He succumbed after House Gavinies fell to The Killjoys and Nadia Moor had successfully slain her cousin.
