Chromatic Palace

"The vault door swings open slowly to reveal a vast entrance hall of stone, everything in sight tinted in a faint reddish glow. Fog swirls on the ground beneath your feet as you step into this cavernous hall. A large spiral staircase towers over you, ascending upwards to something unknown. In the back of the room, the two statues flanking the furthest door are tall, golden idols of geometric stature - many-winged and many-eyed."

Purpose / Function

Although the Smiling God was technically the ruler of the Chromatic Palace, it actually served as its prison until being slain by The Killjoys in CY 1679. The Smiling God wasn't always an aberrant creature of gruesome distortion, but rather a handsome Archdemon who reigned over the 380th layer of the Abyss.
