Khardialite
Khardialite is a naturally-occurring, psi-active, monolithic magical mineral left behind by the gods on various locations on Naghron. There are four kinds of khardialite crystal, resembling either: yellow diamonds, red corundums, emeralds, and blue sapphires. Their name means "shard of potentential " in the Tshaoros language. They are frequently associated with Talirek temples (such as those at Bhekar Ro and Nemaka Ro)
Khardialite crystals feel icing-cold or burning-hot (depending on the affiliated element) when touched, causing an aching pain and a 'tingling feeling', at least to most humanoids. Taloni feel the tingling sensation but without pain, though these differing feelings may be based on the size of the crystal as opposed to differing physiology. The crystals themselves can also affect their environment and users to an extent, such as Zragar Maccal being afflicted with Mageburn, causing volcano eruptions, floods, earthquakes and lightning storms, and in the case of the legendary Khalis and Uraj, great power or a long and painful death.

Everyday use
Khardialite crystals can perform multiple functions. The energies of the crystals can only be processed by creatures blessed by the Talirek.
Cultural Significance and Usage
Khardialite is considered sacred by followers of Shiera Stormsong, Rethelek Kapelemaka, The Beastlord, and other Talirek deities —appropriate for sacrifice, or to be consecrated for use, or recognized as boons or omens when found.
