Lowland Kalari

The Lowland Kalari are the name for the Kalari that dwell within the Redlands and Golden Sands. They are distinct from their cousins, the Highland Kalari only in geographic location, a slight tendency towards red coloration and their dialect of Kalash. The lowlanders have largely shunned the more warlike ways of their cousins as well, and have adopted more friendly attitudes and trade with their neighbors. It is likely due to their relative isolation and geographic position that makes them well suited towards becoming traders rather than warriors.

Major language groups and dialects

Lowland Kalari speak Kalash much like those in the east, though in a dialect that is indistinguishable to a non-speaker. The lowlanders are also likey to learn Al'Quami or Gritus in order to trade with the settled peoples of the region.

Major organizations

The Kalari of the lowlands are a part of the overall Kalari Lashesthat make up the larger confederation of nomadic tribes. Each lash is also likely to host a Kalari Song-Shaman, who serve as spiritual guides as well as protectors. Lashes are also heavily associated with Solarism as a dominant faith.
