Golden Sands

The Golden Sands is the name for the large dune-filled desert of the eastern Telentia River Plains. While the sands would appear at first glance to be a lifeless ocean of sand, there is a fair amount of life here, albeit in tough and often strange forms.

Geography

The Sands are difficult to map with any degree of accuracy. Landmarks can be an unreliable method of navigation as they can become buried or uncovered with a change of wind. Much of the sands themselves look nearly identical but a rough outline of the geography marks the oasis around Lake Sadin and Des'Alom near its center.
