Statue of No-One
"My name is . Behold my kingdom, all the lands I survey are mine. I have slain my foes and their descendants and made rivers of their blood. I have moved mountains at my whim and made the very sun stand still in the midnight sky.. Behold my triumphs, for I have conquered everything except my very ambition."Amidst a small series of ruins stands an enormous statue of an androgynous Radashi in regal attire. At the base of the statue in inscribed a short poem proclaiming the depicted's victories. The name on the inscription is illegible, either from the natural wear of the sands or purposeful vandalism. The great irony is that no other record of this warlord exists. If there was ever such a person, they have faded from history, their name, much like their deeds lost forever. The statue now serves as a landmark for travelers in the ocean of sand. Its shade the only contribution to the world that anyone will remember.
-Script on the statue.
There are persistent rumors that surround the statue itself, but these are regarded hearsay at best.
