Ursaan
The nation of Ursaan is considered to be the roof of the world. Stretching all the way to the northernmost point of Terra Borealis, many villages survive even in the harshness of the Borean Wastes. Mainly populated by the Bear tribes and ruled by their Jarls, Ursaan is a hardy country of survivalists. Ursaan is also the home to the majority of the Borean Fox clans and a good number of grey foxes cast out from Terra Viridis. Ursaan disputes the Viridin claim on the islands east of Terra Borealis and are currently at war with raiders from the smaller continent.
Many of the northern villages subsist on profits made from the sale of hoarfrost, magical ice harvested from the Borean Wastes and the Fangshard Mountains that holds its chill for days even in the hottest environments. Additionally, Ursaan is the only country in the world with the knowledge to forge Icesteel, an incredibly durable metal that is completely heat resistant and must be forged cold. Icesteel is used to create shelter that does not let heat escape and is sought after by smiths the world over to create forges that can withstand hotter and hotter temperatures.
