Mistglen
The largest of the glens in the Commonwealth, Mistglen, is the de facto capital of the growing nation. Named for the mist that comes off the lake that sits in the center of the glen, Mistglen maintains its colder-than-average temperature year-round. Hosting the majority of the mining operations in the Greathills, Mistglen has become an economic powerhouse in its own right with many old and new wealth families as well as prosperous mining and smithing companies. In addition to the being the metallurgical capital of the northern reaches, Mistglen also acts as one of the largest trading ports in the region thanks to its advantageous location at the mouth of the river Breakfallow which streches south and west to the Midding Sea and her larger ports. Situated in a valley like the other major cities of the Commonwealth, tall stone walls have been built around most of the city with stone mined from the Greathills and manned by the Glenknights. Given the Commonwealth's lack of a true nobility, the city of Mistglen is ran by a council appointed by popular vote. The leader of that council represents Mistglen on the Committee.

These large mercantile promenades make up the bulk of the city's revenue, as well as providing employment to the people as shopkeeps, porters, and custodians. Misten smiths and metalworkers produce some of the most well-reputed and reliable tools and hardware in the reaches and recent advances in enchanting and working magic-infused ores have increased this reputation. It is said that every hammer is a masterwork, every axe immune to dulling. Exports of these goods along the Breakfallow have made many smiths' trademarks household names.
