Greathill Mountains

An ancient mountain range that many would mistake for a collection of large hills, the Greathills have been the ancestral homes of many clans of hare, mole, deer, and many other races. It is rumored that long ago these mountains reached towards the very stars and that the gods of the goat tribes took them as their dwelling places. In the modern age there are settlements on the Greathills as well as in the valleys between them. Typically mined for stone for construction projects across the continent and beyond, recent mining efforts have uncovered massive veins of magically infused ore which has become a windfall for the research and development of magical tools and weapons.
