Kanan's Ascension and Calling of the Avatars

Having concluded the Council of Minoth with decision to create champions of worthy mortals, the Forces of Creation choose Kanan the Barbarian to be the first Avatar of Creation.

  With the conclusion of the Council of Minoth being the decision to create the Avatars of Creation, Cidon descended from Minoth and walked among the mortals for several years before choosing Kanan to be the first Avatar of Creation. Kanan the Barbarian was a member of the barbarian tribes living in the Mountains of Creation, and he was one of their most successful warriors. Long had he turned away from his tribes hedonistic traditions and had wandered the mountain range in search of greater understanding from the Forces of Creation. Cidon came across Kanan during his travels and accompanied the barbarian on many adventures over nearly 3 years before revealing his true nature to the Barbarian and empowering him with the Will of Solun.
