A mysterious half-elf hailing from the enigmatic tribes of the Ironwood, Nyx is a caster of mysterious nature. Wielding blade of magical portents that seem to appear from thin area, she has been great help to The Thirteen in dispatching their more aggressive foes.

Nyx has displayed the ability to summon virtually any weapon from thin air into her hand and has likewise displayed proficiency with any such summoned weapons

The Story of Nyx Nightshade
There once was a rather poor family that lived deep within the forest. A place where light itself was afraid to go. The family was tasked with guarding a single road that lead to the elven city beyond. The family was told that the duty was an honor, and that after they had served their time they would be rewarded with a retirement so grand that even kings would envy them. Sadly the family never got to meet that end.
You see, on that fated day which Nyx would come to know as the thirteenth night, the beasts and demons within the forest were let loose and as demanded by their duty, the Nightshade family was to keep the horrors from advancing to the elven city. Many times before had they succeeded, however on this unfortunate night, Andy’s mother was to give birth. So, Nyx’s father would have to fight alone. Though he tried his best, he could not fend off the darkness of the forest alone. After retreating into his home, Nyx’s father stood at the edge of his wife’s bed. The conversation they had was short, but the two prayed to whatever being may be listening begging that their child would be born and survive this night even if they should parish. As the nightmares from the forest approached the small house a bright light erupted from the roof, and a single small child was lifted into it. Knowing their child would be saved, the two lovers prepared for their last stand.
Many years later, Nyx was living a rather comfortable life back in the elven city, though no compensation would ever relieve the pain of never having her parents. Sometimes she would hear a voice in her head that guided her path. Eventually Nyx grew bored of her relaxed lifestyle and yearned for more. She knew her path forward would be difficult but she had faith in her mysterious guardian. With great curiosity she decided to venture out into the world hoping to find a place where she could at the very least make a difference.
