Healing Magic

Healing Magic is a type (or branch) of magic that exists in the world of United Britannia and Hibernia.
Most Healers also practice Potion Magic, to some extent, as well as some Nature Magic.

Regulation

This type of magic is regulated by the Council only to ensure that unskilled witches aren't utilizing it and causing further damage to another witch. As such, only qualified Healers are allowed to use most Healing Magic. (Of course, a witch may heal a child's scrape or some other minor injury, but more damaging injuries require a Healer.)

Subtypes

There are no official subtypes of Healing Magic, although amongst Healers there are certain areas of specialty. For instance, some Healers are more skilled at certain surgeries, while some are more skilled in healing broken bones.

Careers

Like some born with Psychic Magic and Transportation Magic, the Council requires a certain profession: 100% of those born with Healing Magic are required to become a Healer. Exemptions are granted in only the most strangest of circumstances.
Isaac Cross is an extremely talented Healer and is famous for his abilities.
