Tralden , Phervian Lich

A powerful Phervian magic user who came to power in the multiversal empire. When slave revolts started happening across the empire he discovered a way to seal off Undinia. The physical presence of the high elder brain for the early part of the empire, his darker experiments started to gain him infamy even among his own kind. Eventually given the shadow planes to continue his experiments away from the rest of the empire. Founding the city of Vioddoll at a massive cluster of void stones he started looking into the magical properties of the stone. Finally finding a way to increase his power in the void he created a planer way stone. Something went wrong when casting the spell leading to 4 adventures coming through the portal. During the first Sack of Vioddoll Traiden dueled Veil and Wralin at the same time preventing the warlocks from supporting their allies, but also preventing Tralden from defending his enforcers from Raelgil when he showed up. Leading a scorched earth campaign against the newly formed Shadow Republic for 19 years eventually Jam-Jam and Veil attacked the Vioddoll sacking it a second time. Tralden was cut down by Jam-jam whilst performing a ritual that would ensure his enemies' defeat. The ritual was never complete and Jam-Jam had done too much damage for Veil to see what ritual it was.
Single-minded and ruthlessly cunning Tralden only moral was the adage is 'might is right.' A powerful sorcerer many believe he had some sort of connection to The dark corrupter but no evidence has been found.
Rumors also abound that he was never killed and is an actual Lich rather than it just being a title. Rumors have grown more numerous after a heavily cloaked figure showed up in Voidcape and left with a ship. This turned out to be true as Tralden had taken up the guise of Metis to avoid Girliorth, a fact that came to light after his defeat by László at the Battle of Voidcape
