Grimoire of the Void

The Grimoire of the Void is Tralden's grimoire from the slave revolts and one of the legendary focuses. Made of Void stone, silver, and magical regents this is often described as the darkest of the focuses. The spells in the book seem to rearrange themselves into whichever order the holder finds easiest, or hardest depending on the book's allegiance.

The book is covered by decorated void stone connected together by large silver hinges. In the center of the front is a ruby, with several tear-shaped diamonds forming a semi-circle underneath, with a tear-filled sapphire on the left, and six black onyx sits above the ruby. The gems make up the rough shape of an eye.

Written in blood

The spell book is written in the blood of slaves, the writing itself seems to be a shiny dark red, indicating something was done to the blood before its use, however, this is only known by those who have written in the book. Both normal and spell ink seems to just disappear when used.

History

After the first sacking of Voiddoll where Jam-Jam, Wralin, Veil, and Saberfang showed up, Tralden realized he needed more something to counter Wralin's Soul Stone, especially after his current Grimoire was destroyed by Saberafng during the attack.
Gathering together the new magical stone in the area, he used it to create an almost living book that channeled energy from the Void. During the war, When Tralden actually took part in a battle, the Grimoire often floated in front of him, allowing him to reign terror on his enemies.
During the second sacking of Voiddoll, the Grimoire was lost, seemingly disappearing from Undinia, however, events in the Blood and Fey age have proven these legendary focuses are incredibly difficult to destroy.

• You can concentrate on two spells at once

Negative Energy conduit

• Can use arcane recovery twice per long rest

• disadvantage on insight

• Advantage on saving throws from spells

Void Curroption

• gain 1d6 temp hitpoint each long rest

• you count as undead for purposes of detection

• resistance to necrotic
