Deiamouse ("Day-ah-moose")
Deiamouse is a floating island on the Astral Plane. It is home to a Morkoth by the name of Sedma and his lair.
The island, though terraformed through magic, is based on the remains of Tiamat. The remains of the powerful dragon goddess float through the Astral Plane, and Sedma uses the lost souls that have found their way to his island and become trapped there as labor to harvest more of the divine essence for use in expanding his domain.
Enormous iron chains run between Deiamouse and the Smoldering Remains and the two float together through the Astral Plane.
Geography
Sedma's floating island is a lush mountainous terrain and a stark contrast to the vast emptiness around it. The mountains rise in a c-shaped curving arch around the outside of the island, forming a sort of unnatural valley with one outlet. In the valley, there is a ramshackle city. Parts of the city have been magically hewn from stone by Sedma himself, whereas other parts are filled with primitive bricks and wood constructions, which is the best the islands inhabitants can manage with the limited resources allowed to them. Water runs down from several of the mountain peaks, and eventually forms a river which runs off of the edge of the island.
