Millord

Millord is a small walled villlage in Northern Fultar one day's travel north of Immersea and three days south from Mawatt.   Millord recently undergone a major culutral and economic restoration and revitalization. Trade between Fultar and the Nation of Galletica has increased with a peace treaty between Immesea's Lord Crispin Jared and Chief Harl Wartooth of Mawatt that was negotiated in Year of Iron (YR) 902. A greater benefit and influx of Money resulted from the construction of the nearby Bardic College. Construction was started in YR 902, and the college was completed in YR 907 (currently it is YR 910). The five year construction, and the accompanying trade, travelers and increased population to serve the Bardic College have brought a wealth to the village which has not been seen in centuries.   Important inhabitants include:
  • The town Steward, SIr Kalens Childbearer, a member of the petty or lower Fultonian Nobility and who has fathered numerous children in and around Millord.
  • Thom, the innkeeper of Brother Thom's Inn. A rate faced blond man known for being lazy and jealous, but also honest.
  • Brey, the serving wench at Brother Thom's Inn and town prostitute.
  • Rall Smyth, the town blacksmith. She is a niggardly and vengeful, but also brave and honest retired soldier turned smith.
  • Rayin Black, the town mayor and local free farmer. He is a hulking ape shaped man known as being both greedy and harsh.
  • Parker Miller, the town miller, she is known for being a rude and rash materialist.
  • Inkarden, the tall handsome priestess of Tya Nehru, who is egotistical, arrogant and hot tempered. She is illsuited for the important roll of being a priestss of the mother goddess, and her last opportunity to prove herself worthy is being banished to the far north of Fultar.
Rarely found in town, but who exert important influence are the joint co-regents of the Bardic College, the Celtic bard Ahearn and the Fultonian bard, the Loremaster Anselum the Learned.
