Nyx (niks)
Goddess of the night
Few of the Underworld's Chthonic deities can claim to be shrouded in mystery to the same degree as Nyx, the goddess of the night. Mother to the gods Hypnos and Thanatos, to many mortals Nyx represents the same dread of inevitability as her children, though she herself favors neither good nor evil.

Many of Nyx's worshipers come from societies that fear the bright, harsh light of day. Those that trust in secrets and shadows make offerings to the goddess of the night, currying her favor so that they may conduct their business without prying eyes.

As a devotee of Nyx, you know how to protect your secrets. You can cast illusory script with this trait, requiring no material components. You can cast the spell in this way a number of times equal to your Wisdom modifier (minimum of once). You regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
