Monarch
The monarch of Herske, currently one King Johan Alfhild II. They are considered the owner of all of Herske despite the significant delegation of power to the Hertoggen, and the crown has undergone significant shifts in role over time and over the different dynasties which have held it.
The first king was Lyzander Baefestin, who was also the founder of Lystehvit and the kingdom as a whole. Herskovites generally believe that their monarch has essentially the blessing of Vayren to preside over their sacred well.
