Azender

The Azender (pl. Azendra) is a triennial meeting of the Ardents of each Amt during which unfilled seats on the The Council of Ash are filled by a Lords' Election. The Azender is also the timeframe on which a new Primarch is voted upon within the Council itself, and during which the subcouncils are reworked if necessary.

There is a series of celebrations around the Azendra which occurs in the week leading up to the actual event, and happen at slightly different times of year across Amter. The celebration and actual date of the Azender is latest in Calindine herself to give the local elections time to conclude.
