An Amt (plural amter) is a territory within the Principality of Azendale which is governed by a Knodenlort, and is subject to some extent to its own rules and taxation as well as different levels of militarization and economic specialization. These zones often correlate to different geographical areas within Azendale and often some amount of cultural differences between Amter.
