Firal Hideout

This headquarters of the Firal in Clearwen can only be reached by using the correct protocol in the public library and contains archives, sleeping quarters and an ash ground.

Purpose / Function

A safe place for any Firal member to rest, train or research. The archive room contains records of missions, members, weapons, events, rituals of the gods, relevant folktales and general history. This knowledge is key for Firal members, but is not indended for reading by the public. Sleeping quarters and training rooms are used for agents that are in between missions or for those that are in training.

Alterations

At first, the hideout started as an underground cave. As it became more frequently used, its residents took it upon themselves to better their living conditions.

Architecture

All of the hideout is underground and it is therefore mostly windowless. The main rooms are connected via tunnels and a long tunnels is the only way in from the library. After following some more tunnels under the lake, the ash grounds can be reached. Each of the 21 gods has a statue that is about three times the length of the god itself. The ash grounds is half-round shaped, similar to the side of the mountain it is adjacent to. There are no windows and if it wasn't for the waterfall coming from the Clearwen lake, the hideout would offer a splendid view over the Northern Innlands. The sound of the waterfall makes it impossible to have a conversation by speach in this room. This gives an interesting atmosphere between the bouldering sounds of the water and the serenity that follows from being oblivious to any other sounds. Contrary to most ash grounds, the urns of deceased Firal members are evenly spread out over the gods statues. This speaks to the diversity of the Firal members. Under some urns are containers with personal items or weapons that may only be picked up by descendants of the respective agent. In theory, the hideout can also be reached from the sky, for example with a wyvern from the races.
