Combatant’s crash

The silver rose was a highly sought after item during the battles between the First Alliance and the Great Old Ones. Many fights were fought to gain even a shred of knowledge about its whereabouts. During one of these occasions, a particularly large sky vessel form the Old Ones was struck and crashed with all of its combatants into what it now known as Redpond . The crash was so forceful that a big crater appeared in the course of its collision with the ground. It is estimated that the deepest depths of this crater are about 1,5km underneath sea level. Could it be, that relics of the sky vessel remain at the bottom of the crater? We might never know, as the crater has since filled up with water to create the deepest lake in all of Matonga.

Manifestation

An innocent bystander wouldn’t be able to distinguish this lake from any other large body of water when gazing over it from the shore during daylight. At night however, the almost invisible luminescent glow of each of the individual creatures in the lake are bundled, and without the competition of daylight, the entire lake emits a purple radiance.

Localization

The purple glowing effect of creatures only occurs for creatures in the body of water. Once a fish or Niata travel away from the lake trough a river for example, it is only a matter of hours before they lose their luminescent properties. Oddly enough, the water itself does not emit any light on its own. Could there be something going on deep inside the lake that transfers the light to all of the fauna in this habitat?
