Summary

A towering woman who is a lauded military commander among the Tachibana Clan, as well as one of the seven greatest spear-wielding samurai in Japan. Ono Shigeyuki is a veteran of a great many battles and, despite her relative youth, shows a jaded practicality that speaks to this. She does not focus on glory or honor, but rather takes the path which will lead to victory with the least danger or casualty to her own forces. This down-to-earth pragmatism makes her popular with those under her command, particularly the lowest foot soldiers who see her as being of a different cut than other nobles. She has a close friendship with Yufu Korenobu, and together the two are known as the Twin Walls of the Tachibana, a military command team that can be entrusted with even the most dangerous of missions.
