Summary
A horrific creature found in the deepest recesses of the Caves of Life. Its origins are unknown, although it appears to resemble the Sons of Oukranos in superficial body structure. Compared to those servants of the deity, the Blooming Abomination is much larger, bloated with innumerable limbs that spill, grasping, from its mouth. Zvonimira hypothesized that this creature devoured the original guardian of the caves. Later, when Ryūzaki Sanosuke found the Cure to The Plague of the Flowering Mind within its gullet, this theory was further substantiated. Although it lost its physical cohesion in a one-sided battle with the Silver General, the Blooming Abomination is not dead. Instead, after losing its skin, it became a nexus of endlessly propagating limbs. They have presumably filled the Caves of Life. Or, at least, that section of it over which Zvonimira was custodian. Hashinara Yoshitakatomo and her* contingent narrowly escaped the grasping flood and would be ill-advised to enter those subplanar caverns again.
