Suddell

Something that is immediately obvious to anyone looking at Westatoras on a map, Suddell is the most recent addition to the empire and its separation from the rest of the realm leaves it in a uniquely powerful position. Suddell is the main producer of ships in the empire and trading with Aitrun made it quite powerful. Out of all the kingdoms, Suddell has the most autonomy, which it used in the past to wage wars against kingdoms both within and without the twin empires. Suddell is a very traditional kingdom, with a king who has a lot of power over his vassals. While he is subservient to the Emperor of Westatoras, this benefits the king more than the empire. In exchange for providing ships and manpower, the kingdom is protected from outside threats, allowing them to rule most of the Shallow Sea.
