Jalirri
One of the most prominent villages of felines.
Social standing and rank are often denoted by number and shape of markings. Elders have a vertical stripe starting half an inch or so below their lip and running down to the bottom of their chin. Guardsmen have a horizontal 'scratch' on each cheek directly under their eyes.
Hunters often take a trophy from their first solo hunt, be it a tooth, a claw, a section of horn. As the hunter grows in skill, they are supposed to carve a notch in either their trophy or into some totem they carry on their person.
Marozi: coins carved of bone, usually trimmed to about half an inch across. Because of Jalirri's size and all, this coin is sometimes viewed as a valid trade currency, and are worth about a gold piece.
