Eremeni
Eremeni is a farming planet located near Laval. Although it is not one of the galaxy's main agricultural contributors, Eremeni raises and processes a fairly decent portion of livestock-related products.
Geography
Eremeni was originally a multi-biome planet, likely a combination of forest and prairie, and as farms grew and merged together, it soon became classified as a farming planet. Eremeni has large stretches of both plains and forest on its surface, with pastures for livestock and fields for crops. Rivers and roads are used for transportation, with various reservoirs holding water for distribution.
Eremeni has several large cities that are populated by thousands of people. These cities have the average technological level of most cities in the rest of the galaxy. The further one gets from a city's center, the fewer houses there are. Roads are kept in good condition and repaired often, allowing travel around world to go smoothly and without frequent accidents.
Natural Resources
Eremeni is a minor contributor to the galaxy's meat industry and a practically inconsequential contributor of fruits and vegetables. Despite its "farming" classification, it is often considered a residential planet by the general populace.
History
Eremeni was discovered sometime after Laval and was quickly populated after its discovery. A government system was gradually implemented and the planet joined the IPA after the Polaris Collapse. Since it joined the IPA, Eremeni has changed relatively little. It was classified as a farming planet around 265 APC, but it gradually became known as more of a residential and retirement planet. The current population is approximately 2,894,385,000.
A relatively unknown fact about Eremeni is that bestselling children's author Michal Verbeski lives here with his wife and several children.
