Verdant Ingress

A bustling entry port and atypical farming located on the southern shores of the Tethy's, and serves as a point of entry to the Greenmount Peninsula for many of those arriving from regions to the north, such as Mabiristahn, Donkailion, and Udeque. Situated on the brackish, lethargic waters of the Moribund Vitalis, locks have been constructed to not only facilitate the traveling of passenger ships, but create pools by which aquafarming of plants, animals, and insects, can be facilitated. The food stuffs grown here and its location along the coast, make the Verdant Ingress a unique touristic and food focused destination.   With proximity to Locitore, the edibles cultivated tend to be those pleasing to the palate of reptilian folk: aquatic plants, worms, insects, birds and their eggs, fish, smaller lizards, and mollusks are commonly farmed, and thus dishes highlighting these ingredients are popular. The menu may sound avant-garde, but the cuisine attracts people of all kinds, as do the beautifully designed aquafarms, that double as tourist attractions. Being an entry port for numerous people to the Greenmount Peninsula , a welcoming city, as well as its people, is highly important for a settlement that relies on tourism as its principle source of revenue.    Architecture: Bamboo, Clay Tiles and Bricks   Commerce: Tourism, Entertainment, Agriculture, Prepared Foods,    Population: Lizardfolk, Human, Elf, Tiefling   Society: Democracy   Miscellany:    Verdant Ingress, Post Fall: The erratic flow of the Moribund Vitalis has caused issues with water transportation and agriculture, leading to a decrease in food and revenue. Numerous solutions are in the works to try either adjust to, or solve, these changes. In addition to these stirrings, the previous calm and relaxation atmosphere it was known for, is being challenged with aggressive debauchery, that has arrived along with a mysteriously new entrepreneur and the resort that seemed to have sprung up almost overnight.
