Tre'Novis

The world of Tre'Novis. A land begat by an ancient entity referred to as, The First, an infinite being of all things physical and intangible. As itself existed as a chaotic relentless storm, so was the world it created, in hospitable to all but beings of immense power themselves, The First Spawn as they are now called.   The First Spawn roamed the chaotic world, aimless and destructive of all they encountered. Whether chance or inevitable, The First Spawn attacked its creator, splitting it into Nine distinct entities. The fracturing of The First had the unexpected effect of providing clarity and focus where there once was none.   Their newly gained clarity caused an epiphany within the now Nine, driving back the First Spawn and sealing away what they could not destroy. Next they turned their efforts to eradicate the chaos of the physical world, and reshaped it according to their own desires and foci.   They gave birth to the creatures of the world, and the races of the Kith: Humans, Elves, Dwarves, Gnomes, and Halflings. The birth of Kith, transformed the Nine into gods. A fracturing of the gods into evil counterparts, The Forsaken, followed by a war that freed the First Spawn and almost destroyed Tre'Novis, resulted in the departure of the gods from the physical plane to seal themselves away and prevent another catastrophe. Their parting gifts were a fragile amnesty between the two factions, and the creation of the Dragons to serve as protectors.   To this day, surviving countless wars, natural disasters, plagues, and calamities, the world exists as two large land masses, an archipelago, vast oceans, idyllic lakes, forests, plains, frozen tundra, mountains, and all matter of biomes. Gone but not forgotten, the world created by The Nine continues to be a place where millions of lives call home.
