The World
Traestea is a world with two continents, Vorsair and Eanefell, with the bigger of the two, Vorsair, spanning 2,500 miles from the Top to the Bottom Tip before the Archipelago Islands. This means to travel from top to bottom it would take roughly 80 days traveling at a normal pace on a mount, given the path is direct and clear, traveling for 8 hours a day. A wide variety of climates and conditions can be found throughout Traestea, both organic and magically affected, with cultures inhabiting next to every part of the world.
The sky above Traestea can always be seen with either the Sun or the Moon present, but never at the same time. Both travel above the southern portion of the world, and typically in a set path deviating only slightly throughout the year with a new year being symbolized by the sun's brightest day, celebrated as the hottest day of the year. The day-night cycle is typically 12 hours each, only shifting slightly towards longer days as the new year rolls around. At Night the stars above are visible, however they are never in the same place, having shifted slightly to the south every nigh, meaning new constellations are formed every century or so.
A Year on Traestea is 300 days long, separated into 10 months of 30 days in length. A Year is denoted as xxxx AM or xxxx BM, standing for After Migration or Before Migration with 0 AM/BM denoting the date of The Great Migration. Each month represents one of the 10 Upper seats of the Worshiped Deities with each having a month named after them. For example the date 10/03/1058 would be, the 10th Day of Eanel in the Year 1058 AM. The Current Year is 1308 AM.

The frozen strip spanning the north has had a raging blizzard since its discovery, with every expedition that has made the journey into it retreat.
