The Lost Ones
An Ancient Civilization was here well before the current world order, lost to time. Little is known of these people, other than that their magical aptitude was well beyond anything of the current times. Occasionally old ruins of the civilization can be found beneath the surface, holding ancient magics and technologies.
With their language being indecypherable to even magic, little is known about the people but historians have made some progress in understanding the culture, but only a few theories have held up: They were a peaceful, non-violent people. They were highly magicaly advanced. They were Semi-Nomadic in that they would travel in large groups, meaning permanent structures are rare. There are hints to settlements but they've not been found.
