Mannen
Wotan is wise beyond all means, all you know it, brothers and sisters! He gave our brethren tenacity, versatility and refinement on their own -but he blessed us Mannen with the gift of unwavering piety! And with it, the power to wield the words of the gods themselves!
Not all people in the Chaukenlande visibly changed during the events of Wotan's Call, some remained seemingly human. However they gained the power of the gods through the usage of runes and saw themselves blessed by the gods as much as the Wuelfen, Oture and Disen.
The Mannen counted themselves as part of the Hamwesen, Creatures of good, that were to fight with the Asen against the forces of chaos und darkness.
Their abilities included to imbue slates of stone with a magic rune through their force of will. This slate, correctly used, will then unleash a magical spell with otherworldly power. As far as it is known all Chauken that did not change into a different species gained this ability, although the proficiency may vary.
So stand together with our brethren! Ragnarök has come and we together will be joined as an unstoppable force!

Interspecies Relations and Assumptions
The Mannen of the Chauken see themselves as brethren to the other Hamwesen, unifyied through the speeches of Gehanna directly after Wotan's Call.
The other Germanic tribes however encounter all changed people with fear, distrust and sometimes even outright hatred. Here, the communitiesof Mannen have usually exiled the others.
