Gardaran
Gardaran is the Golden Hunter, the Lord of Questing and Pursuit, and he values Deeds of Valour. He is the son of Asaldine and Iliaern, but is ashamed of his father’s weakness in the moment of truth. Glad in his golden armour, he shelters in the divine forests, and aids Triodar in their fight against destruction. He is kind-hearted, and is said to apologise to those he hunts, and whilst he takes joy from the act of hunting, it is said that he sheds a tear each time he slays an enemy. He would much rather there be no darkness in the world, and his clerics are called upon as often to inspire goodness as to hunt evil. He is a popular God in rural communities close to forests and the wilderness, and so his faith is a strange one, with very little power in the centres of civilisation, but a great power in local communities. It is often the church of Gardaran that can marshal forces to protect realms before the monarchs can, and as such his servants often bear the brunt of invasions or raids.
He is an impetuous god, despite his gentleness, and often rushes in unthinking to situations. His temples are humble affairs, except for the door to the temples, and for the golden horns. His doors are always intricately designed, and the horns on the altar are magnificent. All the rest is simple and unadorned, and all are welcome.
