The island which never sleeps

The small island, mostly Covered by the city of Boralus, is isolated to the south of Siniadòr.  Due to the island size and lack of resources, Tana's Empire never bothered to conquer it, nor to claim it has their own, letting those settling on the island as free and independent. The citizen of Boralus braved the element to keep calling this place home, yet terrible storms washed away their effort on an annual basis.
It is believe that thanks to the combined effort of and hydromancer and or a mermaid, Boralus's sea wall was erected, and still protect the city. The island got his nickname of Island which never sleeps later, when performer, drawn by the love tale, started to turn Boralus into a joyous and festive city-state.
